Millions of solar panels heading for landfill as EU lacks recycling capacity

Poland's Economic Institute warns that the EU lacks sufficient recycling capacity for end-of-life solar panels. In Poland, the rapid expansion of photovoltaic installations after 2020 means a major wave of waste panels is expected between 2040 and 2050.
