Piast duke Henryk Brzuchaty tortured in an iron cage by his cousin

Henryk Brzuchaty, the most powerful duke of Silesia, was captured through the treachery of his courtier Lutek, who handed him over defenceless to his cousin Henryk III of Głogów. Imprisoned at Głogów Castle, he was first thrown into a dungeon and then confined in a specially built iron cage that his tormentor personally oversaw.
