Ethiopia's Gobena wins Sydney Marathon in course record 2:04:46

Ethiopian runner Addisu Gobena won the Sydney Marathon in a course record time of 2:04:46. In the women's race, Tokyo Olympic champion Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya took victory. The race was held on the second-to-last day of the Australian winter.
