Polish rowing eight misses World Championship A final, heads to B final in Amsterdam

The Polish rowing eight of Szymon Tomiak, Kazmir Ziven Kujda, Cezary Litka, Michał Szpakowski, Jerzy Kaczmarek, Mateusz Wilangowski, Emilian Jackowiak, Oskar Streich and cox Julia Wiśniewska finished fifth in their World Championship semifinal in Amsterdam. As a result, they will compete in the B final rather than contending for medals.
