EU bans Brazilian meat and animal imports from 3 September

From 3 September, the European Union is banning imports of Brazilian meat and animals onto its market. Brazil is one of the world's largest exporters of beef and poultry, and the ban could have significant consequences for global food markets and meat prices in Europe.
