ICE to spend $16.7M on electric shock gloves to subdue detainees

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has allocated $16.7 million to purchase 6,000 pairs of electric shock gloves for use on resisting detainees and protesters. The agency proceeded with the purchase despite objections from civil rights advocates.
