Up to 30% of Russian frontline troops may be foreign nationals

Vasyl Denysyuk, spokesperson for Ukraine's 66th Separate Mechanised Brigade, claims that foreign nationals may make up as much as 30% of Russian frontline military personnel. These recruits are drawn by promises of a better life, which quickly prove to be a dangerous illusion. The growing share of foreign fighters points to Russia's difficulty in replenishing its own ranks.
