Dutch-leased PKP IC trains caught fire in Dębica and Tarnów — 69 trips cancelled

Over three months, PKP Intercity cancelled 69 trips operated by SD 85 trains leased from the Netherlands. This summer two of the sets caught fire at stations in Dębica and Tarnów. The vehicles' owner insists they are technically sound, attributing the failures to climate change and warning that further incidents cannot be ruled out.
