US Open kicks off: Świątek among favourites, Majchrzak opens Sunday

The US Open in New York begins on Sunday. Kamil Majchrzak is the only Polish player competing on opening day, facing Serbia's Hamad Medjedović. Five more Polish players, including tournament favourite Iga Świątek, are scheduled to play over the following two days.
