Expedia on trial over properties seized from Cuban families decades ago

A federal court trial has opened in the United States in which Cuban families are suing travel company Expedia over properties confiscated by the Castro regime decades ago. The case is one of dozens of similar lawsuits filed since President Trump enabled such claims. The suits are based on laws allowing companies that profit from confiscated Cuban property to be sued in US courts.
