Rape at Lubin hotel: Moldovan man jailed for 7 years

A 33-year-old Moldovan citizen has been sentenced to seven years in prison for the brutal rape and beating of a woman at a hotel in Lubin, Lower Silesia. The attacker threatened his victim with a knife and caused serious injuries; he had previously been drinking with the woman and her partner. The man had a prior murder conviction in Moldova.
