Diane Parry wins WTA 500 Monterrey title after losing first set 6-0

France's Diane Parry claimed the WTA 500 title in Monterrey by defeating favourite Elise Mertens in three sets. Parry lost the opening set 6-0 but fought back to win the deciding set and claim the biggest title of her career. The result was a major upset in the tournament.
