Ecuador: Russian woman arrested for smuggling 32 marine iguanas from Galápagos

Ecuadorian authorities arrested a Russian woman at the airport, accusing her of attempting to smuggle at least 32 marine iguanas out of the Galápagos Islands. The animals were seized during an airport inspection. Marine iguanas are a protected species endemic to the Galápagos.
