Iceland votes in referendum on whether to open EU accession talks

Iceland held a tight referendum on Saturday on whether to resume talks to join the European Union. Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir cast her vote as results remained uncertain. Iceland applied for EU membership but suspended negotiations.
