Russia Can Mobilise 500,000 Troops, but Equipment Shortages Loom
Analysts assess that Russia is very likely preparing for another wave of mobilisation and could conscript as many recruits as it chooses. The critical bottleneck, however, is not manpower but military equipment for the mobilised troops. Shortfalls in weapons and gear could significantly limit the combat capability of any new units formed.
