Polish sanitary inspectorate warns of botulinum toxin found in green pesto

Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspector has issued a warning about a batch of popular green pesto in which botulinum toxin — also known as botulinum — has been detected. Consuming the product can lead to botulism, a serious and potentially life-threatening illness. Anyone who has purchased the affected batch is advised not to consume it.
