USDC becomes Chelsea's shirt sponsor in Premier League crypto first

Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Chelsea FC — a first for a cryptocurrency company in the Premier League. Financial terms were not disclosed, though Chelsea were reportedly targeting around £65 million ($88.3 million) per year for the berth.
