New fuel price caps from Saturday: petrol up, diesel down; programme ends Monday

New maximum fuel prices set by energy minister Miłosz Motyka took effect on Saturday 29 August: petrol rose while diesel fell compared with the previous rates. The prices remain in force until the end of Monday. Monday will also mark the final day of the fuel price regulation programme.
