Squadron 42 delayed to 2027, dev cites GTA 6 competition

Cloud Imperium Games has delayed Squadron 42, its long-in-development Star Citizen spin-off, to Q2 2027. Studio head Chris Roberts argued the game would be overshadowed by GTA 6's release. The title has been in development for many years and has missed multiple previous target dates.
