Former Ulhówek mayor charged with using public funds to pay for own studies

The District Prosecutor's Office in Zamość has charged the former mayor of Ulhówek with abuse of power. Investigators found he ordered 9,500 zloty from the municipal budget to be spent on his own postgraduate studies. The suspect has denied wrongdoing, claiming his actions were lawful.
