Nawrocki and Tusk to attend 87th WWII anniversary ceremony at Westerplatte

President Karol Nawrocki and Prime Minister Donald Tusk have confirmed they will attend the 87th anniversary ceremony marking the outbreak of World War II at Westerplatte. The announcement was made by Gdańsk Mayor Aleksandra Dulkiewicz. Westerplatte is the symbolic site where the first battles of the war began on 1 September.
