Poland's new KRS seeks return to European judicial network after years of exclusion
Krajowa Rada Sądownictwa (KRS) chairman Judge Dariusz Zawistowski told Rzeczpospolita that the new council seeks to rejoin the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary (ENCJ). The previous KRS was expelled from the network for failing to meet standards of independence from political power. Zawistowski stressed that the current council distances itself from its predecessor's conduct.
