Russia escalates attacks on Ukraine as peace talks remain deadlocked
Peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are deadlocked, while Russia intensifies strikes on Ukrainian cities including Kyiv with record brutality. Hlib Vyshlinsky, executive director of the Centre for Economic Strategy think tank, says ordinary Ukrainians will ultimately decide the war's outcome. Russia is deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure and the civilian population as the situation in Ukraine continues to deteriorate.
