Cigarettes smuggled into Poland via weather balloons from Belarus — 9 arrested

Polish Border Guard detained nine people suspected of smuggling cigarettes from Belarus into Poland using weather balloons. Authorities seized more than 39,000 packs of cigarettes worth an estimated 600,000–700,000 złoty. Investigators have applied for pre-trial detention for all those arrested.
