NIK: contractors abandoned nearly half of Poland's ultrafast internet projects
Poland's Supreme Audit Office (NIK) found that contractors withdrew from nearly half of the country's ultrafast internet projects. The Ministry of Digitalisation says it is exercising due diligence, but NIK points to the absence of a unified reporting system for telecoms firms as a barrier to rolling out fibre networks — a system the ministry has no plans to create.
