Ewelina on life after her husband's death in Żak crash: "I talk to him daily"

In 2024, Łukasz Żak caused a fatal crash on Warsaw's Trasa Łazienkowska, killing Rafał, the husband of Ewelina. In July 2026, Żak was sentenced to 20 years in prison and a lifetime driving ban. In her first interview since the tragedy, Ewelina told Wirtualna Polska that two years on she still speaks to her late husband every day.
