Polish Olympic Committee chief Piesiewicz remanded in custody for three months

A court in Katowice ordered a three-month pre-trial detention for Radosław Piesiewicz, president of the Polish Olympic Committee. He faces charges of paid protection and harming creditors in connection with the near-insolvency of Zondacrypto. Sports Minister Jakub Rutnicki swiftly called on the PKOl board to take action.
