Thieves steal most of the Villena Treasure from Spanish museum in 4 minutes
In the early hours of Friday, thieves broke into the Museo Villena (MUVI) in Alicante province through a window and removed most of the Villena Treasure — a collection of Bronze Age gold artefacts considered one of Europe's most valuable golden antiquities — in just four minutes. The alarm triggered at 5:20 a.m. and the perpetrators left the building by 5:24. The Guardia Civil and local police are leading the investigation, analysing CCTV footage and forensic evidence.
