New drivers face two-year probation period from September 2026

From 3 September 2026, first-time category B licence holders in Poland will face a two-year probationary period. For 17-year-olds who obtain a licence early, the probation lasts three years but ends at age 20. The new rules introduce additional restrictions for novice drivers during that period.
