Mladic victims condemn glorification of the "Butcher of Bosnia" after his prison death
Gen. Ratko Mladić, commander of Bosnian Serb forces responsible for the deaths of an estimated 100,000 people and the Srebrenica genocide — in which at least 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys were killed — died in prison on Thursday. Survivors and victims' families warn that despite the death of the "Butcher of Bosnia," his ideology remains shockingly pervasive across the region.
