Sweden to send Gripen jets and Visby corvettes to bolster Finland's defence
Sweden will provide military support to Finland at least until the end of the year under a negotiated regional surveillance agreement, Finnish Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen announced. Stockholm will deploy Gripen fighter jets and Visby-class missile corvettes as part of the deal. The cooperation is aimed at strengthening regional security in the face of the threat from Russia.
