Trump says US secures majority control over Venezuela's 65bn oil barrels

The US and Venezuela have reached a deal that would grant Washington majority control over more than 65 billion barrels of Venezuela's proven oil reserves, President Donald Trump announced. Trump described the agreement as historic. The deal would represent one of the largest transfers of resource control in modern diplomatic history.
