Cale Makar signs record $163.2 million NHL contract — first $20M-per-year player

Colorado Avalanche defenceman Cale Makar has signed a contract worth $163.2 million, the largest in NHL history. The deal makes Makar the first player in the league to earn more than $20 million per season.
