Polish Olympic Committee chief Piesiewicz arrested and charged in Zondacrypto scandal; Boniek says a better choice was possible

Radosław Piesiewicz, president of the Polish Olympic Committee, was detained by police and charged with two offences linked to the Zondacrypto scandal. Zbigniew Boniek, former president of the Polish Football Association, commented on the case while being inducted into the Łódź Sports Hall of Fame, saying: "A better choice of president could have been made." The case centres on the Polish Olympic Committee's controversial partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto.
