California rapper among three charged in $8.1 million stolen checks scheme

An aspiring California rapper and two others have been charged by the US Department of Justice in an $8.1 million stolen and altered checks scheme. More than 100 stolen or altered checks were found in the rapper's car, including tax refund and federal benefits checks, prosecutors said.
