Anthropic researcher reveals AI system that improves its own alignment

An Anthropic researcher revealed an automated AI system tested on 10 benchmarks measuring misaligned behaviours. The system improved performance on every single benchmark without degrading overall capability. The result is an early demonstration that AI can improve its own alignment automatically.
