Hospital demanded 8,000 zł from journalist for doctors' pay data already in public register
A hospital in Chrzanów demanded over 8,000 złoty from a journalist for a breakdown of doctors' salaries — data that has been publicly available in the Central Contracts Register for several days. The register shows that seven of the hospital's doctors may earn over one million złoty per year each. Hospital director Artur Baranowski said the estimates are "greatly inflated" and that the facility has only one millionaire.
