Heavy rain and storms in Poland — defence minister raises WOT readiness

Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz raised the readiness level of Poland's Territorial Defence Forces (WOT) ahead of forecast heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and strong winds. The WOT is to stand by to support civilian services in the event of flooding or storm damage. The warnings cover several regions of Poland.
