Poland plans pilot programme for extra-long EMS truck combinations on public roads

A draft amendment to Poland's Road Traffic Act, published on Friday, would allow testing of vehicle combinations exceeding current size and weight limits. The proposal covers European Modular System (EMS) truck combinations, which can carry larger loads per journey. The pilot aims to assess whether permitting such vehicles on Polish roads would be safe and economically viable.
