First European Patriot missile factory opens in Bavaria, deliveries from 2027

The first factory in Europe producing missiles for the US Patriot air defence system is being built in Schrobenhausen, Bavaria. According to the German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung, the first deliveries of rockets from the new plant are planned for 2027. The investment is intended to bolster European defence capabilities and reduce dependence on transatlantic supplies.
