Ridley Scott adapts Peter Heller's post-apocalyptic novel "The Dog Stars"

Ridley Scott, director of "Gladiator" and "Blade Runner", has adapted Peter Heller's post-apocalyptic novel "The Dog Stars" for the big screen. The story is set after a global pandemic that nearly wiped out humanity. The film opened in cinemas on 28 August, with a reissue of the novel available in bookshops.
