Storms and heavy rain approaching Poland — emergency services on full alert

Poland's Ministry of Interior and Administration has placed emergency services on full alert ahead of forecast heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Deputy Minister Wiesław Leśniakiewicz issued the order following a service briefing. Weather warnings are in effect for more than half of the country, and the Government Security Centre has sent RCB emergency alerts to mobile phones.
