Germany: 81-year-old jailed for life for rape and murder of US tourist Amy Lopez 30 years ago

A German court sentenced an 81-year-old man to life in prison for the rape and murder of 24-year-old American tourist Amy Lopez. The crime went unsolved for more than three decades until new DNA evidence allowed investigators to identify, arrest and convict the perpetrator.
