Bielsko-Biała: KO mayor backs down on green space sale under referendum threat

Jarosław Klimaszewski, the mayor of Bielsko-Biała from the Civic Coalition (KO), reversed his plans to sell green areas important to residents after locals threatened to launch a recall referendum. Residents were ready to begin collecting signatures for the petition. The mayor backed down under the pressure.
