China purges top generals: vice-chair of Central Military Commission removed

China's National People's Congress Standing Committee removed Central Military Commission vice-chair Gen. Zhang Youxia and Gen. Liu Zhenli on Friday, state agency Xinhua reported. The move came after a corruption investigation. It marks another high-profile purge within the Chinese military's top leadership.
