Heatwave in France enables natural hatching of Nile crocodiles without incubators
Ten Nile crocodiles hatched naturally — without incubators — for the first time in the history of La Ferme aux Crocodiles park in southern France. Staff attribute the natural hatching to exceptionally high temperatures this summer, which recreated Africa-like conditions. The event is unprecedented for the facility.
