Dutch court sentences man to life in prison for Rwanda genocide involvement
A Dutch court has sentenced a Rwandan-born Dutch national to life in prison for his involvement in the massacre of approximately 3,000 Tutsi during the Rwandan genocide. He was found guilty of crimes including throwing a grenade into a crowd sheltering in a football stadium. The verdict is among the most severe handed down by a European court in connection with the Rwandan genocide.
