War criminal Ratko Mladić dies at 84 in Hague prison

Ratko Mladić, convicted of genocide for the Srebrenica massacre and the siege of Sarajevo, has died at the age of 84 in a UN prison in The Hague, where he was serving a life sentence. His planned burial with state honours has sparked sharp divisions in Serbia. More than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys were murdered in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre.
