MSF: attacks on healthcare workers and patients more than doubled in a year
Médecins Sans Frontières reports that the number of medical workers and patients killed in conflict zones more than doubled in a single year, with over 1,300 attacks on healthcare facilities recorded. By 2025, 41.2% of MSF's missions are conducted in active war zones, up from 30.1% in 2022. The organisation states that states are responsible for most attacks and that international law protecting medical personnel is routinely violated.
