Domański: alcohol excise hike planned for 2027, revenues earmarked for NFZ

Finance Minister Andrzej Domański confirmed that a planned increase in alcohol excise duty remains on the table as part of the 2027 budget. All revenues from the hike are intended to go directly to the National Health Fund (NFZ). The announcement was made at a press conference following a Cabinet meeting on the draft budget.
